Ved Prakash Sharma is a development sector professional with over three decades of experience in development, entrepreneurship promotion, sustainable livelihoods, agri and rural development. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of B-ABLE Foundation, providing strategic leadership to advance inclusive development through skill building, employment generation , micro-entrepreneurship, and community based initiatives for livelihood.

He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, a Bachelor of Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), and is an alumnus of the Indian Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS).

Combining deep grassroots experience with strategic and operational leadership, he has led large-scale initiatives across farm and non-farm sectors, focusing on youth employability, micro-entrepreneurship, farmer market linkages, producer organizations, and sustainable livelihood models. Prior to leading B-ABLE Foundation, he held leadership roles with organizations including India News, Krishi Jagran, Agriculture Today, CARD, Agriwatch, ISAP, and B-ABLE Ltd.

His work encompasses organizational development, programme design, resource mobilization, partnership building, and ecosystem strengthening, reflecting his commitment to creating scalable and sustainable development solutions that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and drive lasting social impact.
