Empowering youth with the skills on earthmoving equipment for lifelong employability and meaningful employment in construction and mining industry and filling the gap of skilled workforce.
This CSR initiative by Gainwell Commosales Pvt. Ltd. (CAT), in partnership with B-ABLE Foundation and Bhagwanti Memorial Foundation, aims to empower 10th pass or ITI-qualified youth (aged 18-28) across India by training them as Backhoe Loader/ Hydraulic Excavator/ Genset Operators or Technicians at a residential training facility.
The program is designed to equip youth with industry-relevant skills, enabling them to secure gainful employment in the construction and mining sectors while addressing the industry’s growing demand for a skilled workforce.
To facilitate safe and effective practical training, students were provided with safety toolkits, including safety shoes, helmets, jackets, goggles, and gloves. The recent batch successfully completed enrollment, training, and certification, with all participants securing job placements in the industry.
The program has successfully trained candidates across Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Assam, placing them in the industry, where they are not only contributing to the workforce but also securing sustainable livelihoods for their families.
